Former Kasarani Member of Parliament Elizabeth Ongoro on Thursday presented herself at the Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission (EACC) headquarters over a Sh48.9 million scandal.
Ms Ongoro was summoned by the anti-graft body after it emerged that she had allegedly embezzled the CDF money meant for the construction of a school when she served as MP.
“She is currently being probed by officers over the scandal,” an EACC official told Kenya Mails on phone.
This comes barely a week after EACC summoned Ms Ongoro alongside her husband Ferdinand Masha over the scandal.
The duo is amongst 19 other suspects who are accused of embezzling the funds meant for the construction of Kasarani Girls High School.
