Cenk Tosun has joined Crystal Palace on loan from Everton for the remainder of the season.
The 28-year-old Turkish striker made the move following limited playing time at Everton.
The arrival of summer signing Moise Kean from Juventus and the renaissance of club youngster Calvert Lewin meant Tosun is not the preferred striker this season.
While welcoming the striker, the Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish revealed their admiration for the player.
“We’re delighted to have secured Cenk’s services for the remainder of this season. We’ve enjoyed a great first half of the campaign and Cenk’s arrival will bolster our squad as we push for a top-half Premier League finish.”
His experience at the domestic level is expected to benefit Crystal Palace in their forthcoming matches.
Tosun will wear jersey No. 20 at his new home.
